Guest speaker, Brad Quinlan – The Story of Union Soldiers From Georgia and Gwinnett County. Quinlan has studied American Civil War for 32 years, American History for 44 years, and has appeared in 21 movies/TV shows.

Isaac Adair House

Lawn Ribbon Cutting/Open House

One of the oldest houses in the County, early Gwinnett settler Isaac Adair built the house around 1827 near the intersection of what is now Pike Street and Hurricane Shoals Road using an architectural style considered to be both Federal and Georgian.

First Families of
Gwinnett Induction Ceremony

First Families of Gwinnett is open to Gwinnett Historical Society members who prove their descent from an ancestor that lived in Gwinnett County by the end of 1850.

The Bicentennial Advisory Committee is looking for community partners and events to be part of the county’s bicentennial celebration, December 15, 2017 – December 15, 2018. If your organization would like to be involved, please complete the Event Submittal Form.
